Oco Identified in Software-as-a-Service Category
WALTHAM, Mass. - Feb. 17, 2010 - Oco, Inc., a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of business analytics solutions, announced today that it has been named a “Company to Watch” by InformationWeek Business Technology Network’s Intelligent Enterprise, in its 2010 Editors' Choice Awards. The awards, which are designed to guide enterprise IT professionals to technology providers that lead the way in innovation and business optimization, included Oco in the Business Intelligence (BI) category.
The Editor’s Choice Awards named "Companies to Watch" across three categories: business intelligence, enterprise applications and information management. The awards note that, “Oco has offered SaaS-based BI since 1999, and it can rapidly integrate complex data sources. It offers a battery of prebuilt analytics that address sales and profitability, sourcing and procurement, quality and production, inventory, transportation and logistics, and customer management.” It also states that, “in short, it's ready for a range of business-specific challenges.”
“We’re very honored to be included in the InformationWeek’s Business Technology Network’s Intelligent Enterprise Editors’ Choice Awards,” said Bill Copacino, president and CEO, Oco, Inc. “We have remained steadfast in our commitment to delivering complete BI solutions that companies can use to immediately address specific business needs and to gain the visibility and analytics they need to streamline operations, save costs and compete in today’s global marketplace.”
The selection process for InformationWeek’s Business Technology Network’s Intelligent Enterprise Editors’ Choice Awards involved a tremendous amount of research and assessment of the past year's coverage and reader feedback by the publication’s editorial staff. The award selection was a collaborative endeavor, with extensive input from seven Intelligent Enterprise contributors. Intelligent Enterprise Editor-in-Chief Doug Henschen was responsible for the final selection of award winners.
