QA Analyst

Oco, Inc. has an opening for a QA Analyst who will be responsible for the overall quality of Oco’s customer deliverables, including correctness of functional behavior, adherence to business specifications, performance, and data accuracy. This position will require both manual testing as well as test automation. The right candidate will have the ability to perform user interface validation and data validation.

The QA Analyst will:

  • Conduct functional, performance, and change regression testing Oco’s Business Analytics including: Reports, Key Performance Indicators, Dashboards and other solution components
  • Conduct detailed data validation to insure the accuracy of data mappings, data queries, and load scripts
  • Work with Oco’s Delivery team to define, design, develop and deliver automated test suites to test all solution components
  • Implement and maintain internal test utilities and tools utilized for quality efforts
  • Work closely with the Delivery Project Manager to determine the client’s needs and how to meet project goals

Requirements:

  • Required:
    • 3-5 years overall experience in Software Quality Assurance
    • 2-4 years experience with SQL Server and other relational databases (Oracle, DB2)
    • Experience testing complex web-based user interfaces, including both HTML and Flex-based applications
    • Ability to write moderate to complex SQL queries, to read and understand complex SQL queries, and to utilize other SQL artifacts (such as Stored Procedures and Views)
    • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects while meeting aggressive customer deadlines
    • Good oral and written communication skills

       

  • Desired:
    • Experience with test automation tools including QTP 9.2+ and using QTP to automate Adobe Flex 3 applications is highly desirable
    • Experience testing business intelligence, data warehouse, and/or large database application systems
